How barefoot do you want to be when training? The answer for me depends on how I am training. In the gym, I want to be anchored to the ground and be able to generate force efficiently through my feet. When running, I want to be light on my feet and efficient with my form. Does the V-Train 2.0 facilitate these things?
There are a lot of people lifting weights barefoot. And while that's great, I am not one to trust a dirty gym floor. Because of that, barefoot style shoes (especially toe shoes) are a nice way to bridge that gap and give us the best of both worlds.
The V-Train saw about a month of weight training and 40 miles or so of road running with me as I collected information and experience for this review. If you are wondering how it performed make sure to watch the whole video.
