Introduction to a one Minute reflection for our lives today based in the Word of God, to help us grow in living the invitation of the Lord that “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbour as yourself.” Lk 10:27.

A voice cries out:
‘In the wilderness
prepare the way of the LORD,
Isaiah 40:3

O Father God,
Thank you for Christ our Saviour,
and the promise
of the coming kingdom.
We exult in the call
to live in joyful anticipation
of his approaching reign.
With the grace
of your Holy Spirit may
we encourage one another to be ready.
With all the People of God
may we cry out together
“Marana tha”
Come Lord Jesus,
Amen.
