When you jump start a completely dead battery (zero power) with the NOCO Boost Plus model GB40. The NOCO Boost Plus will keep clicking because it tried to detect the voltage of the dead battery but could not. No power will flow to the dead battery so you can not jump start a battery. In order to work around this, you need for the NOCO Boost Plus to by pass the battery detecting process.
