This happened literally metres in front of me at about 35km/h. Luckily he was wearing a helmet but the bare legs must have taken a hammering! Hopefully just superficial damage! It was so close and unexpected I nearly ran into him on the ground, and on the other hand I was scared if I swerved I would collide with something next to me as there were a number of motorbikes nearby. The road road surface was damp as well... Thankfully it didn't happen like that and I managed to avoid him and come to a controlled stop.
