One of many cool features of a Tesla is the Phone Key. If you setup your phone as the key to your Tesla Model 3 / Y in the Tesla app, you get the very practical features of keyless entry and walk-away door lock. These are both very secure and only work if your phone key is a short distance from the car. You can also link your specific phone key and key card to your driver profile so it automatically selects your profile when you get in the car.
