Associate Professor Dr. Asma Khan is the Chairperson of Clinical Trial Unit established in Rawalpindi Medical University in 2021.She is also Chairperson Of Pharmacovigilance committee of Holy Family Hospital and working to improve the standards of prescription writing.She will present the structured research model of RMU in alignment of mission statement of RMU that is to impart evidence based research oriented medical education. She will discuss the organogram of Clinical trial unit with progress of clinical trials conducted in RMU since its establishment.
She is acting as head of department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics and doing PhD from Riphah International University. Her area of research is Pharmacogenetics and mutations involved in the emergence of resistant for treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia.
