A move to groom tech talent to be future ready. Local bank UOB's new academy will benefit its 5,000 tech and operations workforce. Speaking at the launch of the academy, Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat said new skills -- such as cybersecurity, blockchain and sustainable financing -- are needed to ride on the digital and green waves. UOB has also signed agreements with universities to develop their staff's technical expertise through workshops and courses.
