HARLINGER is a one-man Black Metal project from East Frisia, founded in 2024. Founder JB, who has also been active in other bands, sought the greatest possible artistic freedom to musically express a wide range of themes, ultimately finding this in HARLINGER. The first album, KINDERSCHRECK, will be released on Friday, December 13, 2024.
HARLINGER brings to life a sinister yet melodic Black Metal manifesto on their debut album "Kinderschreck", reviving figures of childhood dread such as the Nachtkrapp, Roggenmuhme, and Butzemann. With intricate guitar arrangements and ferociously intense riffs, HARLINGER master fully illuminates the dark depths of human fear and translates them into modernity through thought provoking lyrics. "Kinderschreck" is a captivating work that will enthrall every fan of conceptually driven Black Metal. Each of the six songs is not only a critical examination of the relationship between fear and obedience but also an homage to rural Germany of past eras.
