Oneness is a divine imprint within creation. And thus maintained the Islamic mystics. Way Before Gregory Bateson’s systems theory in the 1970s raised our awareness of the interrelationship between systems. or just as the ecological systems theory maintains that living organisms have an influence on the environment and vice versa. There’s a give-and-take going on or what Bateson referred to as Feedback Loops.
According to mystics like Ibn Al-Arabi the whole universe may be one universal spirit possessing even a higher degree of unity than that of a human mind. The many are to the One like a vessel in which His essence subsists.
What applies to the universe also applies to (wo)man.
Life is not abstract, life is a dialogue, life is alive, and therein within life dwells the center of divine intention. And thereof grace is ever-present.
We understand this grace as Baraka – the Divine Power.
