To Make Sugar Syrup
Sugar - 1 Cup ( 250 ML ) (Buy: [ Ссылка ])
Water - 1 1/2 Cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 Tsp (Buy: [ Ссылка ] )
Saffron (Buy: [ Ссылка ])
To Make Dough
Paneer - 200 Gms (Buy: [ Ссылка ])
Corn Flour - 2 Tbsp (Buy: [ Ссылка ])
All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1/4 Cup (Buy: [ Ссылка ])
Water
Oil For Deep Frying
METHOD:
1. Take a saucepan and add sugar to it.
2. Pour water, mix well and let the sugar completely dissolve.
3. Once the sugar is melted, add saffron and cardamom powder. Mix and boil for 5 mins.
4. After 5 mins, check if the sugar syrup is slightly sticky, turn off the stove and keep the syrup aside.
5. Take paneer in a mixer jar and grind it smoothly by adding little water at a time.
6. Remove the smooth paneer mixture from the mixer jar and put it in a bowl.
7. Add corn flour, maida to paneer and mix well.
8. Put the paneer mixture into a piping bag and keep aside.
9. Heat oil in a pan.
10. Gently press the piping bag to make paneer jalebis in the desired shape as shown in the video.
11. After the jalebis are fried on both sides, remove them from the pan and drop them in sugar syrup.
Paneer jalebi is a nice sweet recipe that can be made for special occasions. This jalebi is made with paneer, so, this is definitely a lot different that the usual flours based jalebis we eat all the time. This is very rich and tasty and sweet in taste due to the sugar syrup.
