At 74, Ramon "Jun" Magsaysay Jr., seeks a return to the Senate under the administration party. In this fifth of the series of INQuest interviews by INQUIRER.net, he talks about diverse things including how it is to be the son of "the most loved" President of the Philippines, whose virtue of "simplicity" he extols. While his father never encouraged him to enter politics, he says he eventually entered it through the prodding of his wife, Marie Louise. This De La Salle and Harvard graduate considers politics as basically public service and swears that he will live up to the good name (without "mantsa"or stain) that his father, whom he considers his role model, has given him.
