Mercedez-Benz tested RealWear HMT-1 for 4 months as part of the pilot project in all after-sales services throughout Turkey.
Given the proven performance of the solution bundled with Microsoft Teams that Mercedes-Benz use in daily work routine, its usability and, efficiency it creates in Mercedes's after-sales operations, being first in the sector, Mercedes-Benz deployed the solution in all authorized services throughout Turkey, in collaboration with Tofnatech, one of the most active partners of RealWear, which operates in 40 countries.
Mercedes-Benz is now able to connect experts to field via live video call on Microsoft Teams for issues that a dealer cannot find a quick solution to, whether being in service station or roadside assistance. If the technician is next to a busy highway or in a noisy area, since RealWear's HMT-1 very effectively cancels the ambient noise, experts can communicate with the technician very easily and monitor the environment through the technician's field-of-view and convey real-time directives. Experts can also observe whether the field technician practices the directives correctly.
