On 24th August 2012 the University of Leicester and Leicester City Council, in association with the Richard III Society joined forces to begin a search for the mortal remains of King Richard III.
BBC Reporter Quentin Rayner broadcast this report live on BBC Breakfast News from the Greyfriars dig site on the morning of the 24th August 2012.
Quentin interviewed Richard Buckley, Michael Ibsen and Philippa Langley asking why the dig was happening in this location, how the remains of Richard would be identified if found and where the remains would be reburied.
