Scientists have made a breakthrough in testing for kauri dieback, they know more about the disease and how it's being spread which will aid efforts to eradicate the threat to our native trees. And as Hania Douglas reports, the iwi who pushed for a ban on entering the Waitakere Ranges to contain kauri dieback is pleased to hear of the development.
