Jeff Renner talks with Dr. Elliott Norse, founder and chief scientist at the Marine Conservation Institute. A global thinker and author who's devoted his career to conserving life in our seas and forests, Dr. Norse worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the White House Council on Environmental Quality, the Ecological Society of America, The Wilderness Society and the Ocean Conservancy before founding the Marine Conservation Institute in 1996. Now he wants to assemble a global system of refuges to save marine life for the future.
On March 7, 2013 join us and participate in an educational dialogue between Jeff Renner and Dr. Elliott Norse on "Assembling a Portfolio of Places to Save Marine Life" in our next Sound Conversations session at the Seattle Aquarium. Tickets are $10 and available online at www.seattleaquarium.org/Sound-Conversations.
