Form 26AS, also known as Annual Statement, provides a consolidated record of all tax-related information such as TDS, TCS, and refund etc. associated with a PAN (Permanent Account Number). Form 26AS and its use by a tax authorities/tax payers are governed by Section 203AA, Rule 31AB of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
