Dating back to 1910, the Chernivtsi airport is the only option to get to Ukrainian capital in less than 8 to 9 hours. Current runway is built in 1974 to support An-24 flights to various destinations within Soviet Ukraine, and it still seems to be in a great shape. Before the pandemic, the airport saw not only domestic flights, but also a few international connections.
