Thank you India Voice Fest for felicitating Daddy Partap Sharma as the legendary voice and thank you, Ikabir Bedi, for your kind words on Dad spoken in your wonderful voice. It was an honour to be with so many of his colleagues and friends like Ameen Sayani, Brij Bhushan and others and the younger voices who have often very kindly told me how Dad’s is a voice they still regard as pioneering and legendary. I had tears streaming down my cheeks when we played the video I shared yesterday as did many in the audience please go to my story or IGTV for the video and the standing ovation Dad received was touching. And this being just a day after his 8th death anniversary makes it again feels like a sign that Dad lives on.
