SADA BORNEO’s music formula includes reviving traditional music, adding fresh and contemporary elements into their music arrangement and composition. The band loves to experiment with various kinds of musical instruments ranging from traditional to modern musical instruments and adapting the sounds of nature into their music. They include the sounds of rainfall, thunder, frog and chirping birds to emulate the ambience of the rainforest.

In live performances, its instrumentation consists of sapeh, bungkau, kompang, kulintangan, percussions guitar and keyboard.
