Today, we show you 3 easy DIY methods to remove nails (even difficult ones) from any pieces of wood, plaster, concrete, walls, ceilings, bricks, etc. The methods range from the beginner / limited tools one to the lifehacker solution (that you may not know)!
Method 1: Pure muscle
==============================
* Level: Beginner (due to the limited tools)
* Material needed: Pliers & some muscles
* Note: Be careful to not hurt yourself as the nail is suddenly released. It is not uncommon for people to hurt their hands or elbows as they bump (with force) into objects in the background. This is not my method of choice since the built up and fast release of forces can cause injuries and can also cause some material to tear up (especially for hardened metal nails embedded in concrete / plaster). I prefer the next method.
Method 2: Laws of Physics: the lever
==============================
* Level: Medium (Not everyone has a crowbar or claw hammer)
* Material needed: A claw hammer or crowbar / wrecking bar / pry bar / prybar / pinch-bar / prise bar / prisebar and a sacrificial piece of wood
* Note: The sacrificial piece of wood is needed to avoid denting the wood when using the crowbar. The physics of the lever makes is a safer and easier method to use than method 1. This is my personal favorite.
Method 3: Survivalist lifehacker, when method 1 & method 2 do not work
==============================
Imagine you cannot grab the nail, what then?
* Level: Advanced (Not everyone has a vice grip plier)
* Material needed: A vice grip plier, a crowbar / wrecking bar / pry bar / prybar / pinch-bar / prise bar / prisebar and a sacrificial piece of wood
* Note: The vice grip plier creates a new sturdy point of contact for the crowbar. The sacrificial piece of wood is needed to avoid denting the wood when using the crowbar. Lifehack / out of the box thinking right here, with a good method to put in your overall toolbox of DIY Tips and tricks.
► YOU WILL NEED:

► DISCLAIMER
Always make sure you operate in a safe and secure manner.
For this project this means, try not to stab yourself in the eye with a screwdriver (even if highly tempting)
