From almost the southernmost tip of Sardinia’s east coast, the peloton tackle a rolling route directly northwards to Tortolì. This stage features the first categorised climb of this year’s race but a relatively easy day in the saddle should see the peloton keep things in check for some form of a bunch sprint.
