Introducing the AST Home Aquaponics System. This system was designed to bring the benefits of decoupled systems usually used by commercial farms, to everyday hobbyists. Our engineered and tested design breaks the aquaponic loop (fish and filter) from the hydroponics system (blending tank and grow beds). Only concentrated sludge is moved to mineralization to nourish the plant beds. This keeps the fish tank cleaner and allows for more options in the event of disease (treat the plants without harming the fish). This revolutionary design uses air to circulate the water, oxygenating the water as it is lifted back to the tanks and removing the need for water pumps completely. It does use two air pumps, one to 'time' the automatic backwashing Endurance filter and the other to lift the water. No air stones are needed in the growbeds, circulation from the blending tank keeps the oxygen saturation in check.

Currently, AST is looking for DISTRIBUTORS to provide support and sell this product to customers. AST provides the filter, tanks, and plumbing kits for assembly as well as distributor resources/ training.
