Let’s start the experiment:

You Need:

Ice cubes
Salt
Directions:

1. Put your finger in the middle of the ice cute for few seconds. The pressure and heat will melt ice a bit.
2. Sprinkle some salt on the ice. Leave it for few minutes. Observe the result?
Reason:
-------------------------
Pressure and heat make ice melt faster. Another method to speed up melting is to use salt because it make ice melt at a lower temperature.
