Milad Tower in Tehran is the tallest structure in Tehran, the third tallest tower in the Middle East and the sixth tallest telecommunications tower in the world. Today, the Milad Tower #complex in Tehran is widely used in the field of telecommunications and tourism. Currently, Milad Tower of Tehran is known as the symbol of Tehran city in the world.

For the first time in 1372, due to infrastructural problems in the country's telecommunication network, a decision was made to establish a telecommunication tower with advanced and acceptable facilities to speed up wireless communications. For this purpose, prominent Iranian engineers began studying and planning this project, and finally, in 1376, Milad Tower's pick fell to the ground on the anniversary of Imam Khomeini's birth. This is the reason for naming Milad Tower with this name; Of course, at first the name "Memorial Tower" was intended for this structure.

Where is Milad Tower?
The Milad Tower Complex of Tehran is located in an area of about 75 hectares on a hill in the Koi Nasr area of Tehran and is located in District 2 of Tehran Municipality in the northwest of the capital. Milad Tower reaches Hammat highway from the north, Hakim highway from the south, Chamran highway from the east, and Sheikh Fadlullah highway from the west.

How many meters is Milad Tower?
Tehran's Milad Tower, with a height of 435 meters, is the sixth tallest telecommunication tower in the world. It is interesting to know that the fifth place belongs to the "Oriental Pearl Tower" in Shanghai, China, and this tower is only 32 meters higher than Milad Tower. The first to fourth ranks are the telecommunication towers in Japan, China, Canada and Russia, the height of which is 634 meters.

Milad tower restaurants
There are many restaurants in the main building of Milad Tower and the surrounding area of Milad Tower. But the most famous restaurant in the Milad Tower complex is located at the top of the Milad Tower on the sixth floor of the building and is known as the Milad Tower Revolving Restaurant. This restaurant is the largest revolving restaurant in the world and with a capacity of 400 people, it rotates one full circle every hour. Milad Tower revolving restaurant at a height of 276 meters offers customers a complete view of the city of Tehran.
