The story of amateur filmmaker, Bill Townley. A Stoke-On-Trent filmmaker in the 1960's who produced a feature film on a budget of £800 of his own money in order to tell the story of John 'Jack' Baskeyfield. A war hero that was awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery at Arnhem, manning an anti-tank gun alone in order to protect his comrades.
Hear some on-set stories told by Bill about the film and his journey, what drove him, what inspired him to create films. Thank you to everybody who has taken time to watch this film it means a lot!
Bill is my inspiration for filmmaking and I really wanted to share his story with the world.
