This video covers day 6 of our bike tour of the C&O and GAP Trails, day 3 of the GAP trail, from Ohiopyle to West Newton, Pennsylvania. On this beautiful, sunny day, we headed out into Ohiopyle State Park, encountering some downed tree limbs along the way, but nothing that stopped us cold.
After riding through the park, we stopped in Connellsville for lunch, before tackling the last 25 miles or so, which took us through Adelaide, Perryopolis, Whitsett, Smithton, Cedar Creek Park, and finally into West Newton. We caught sight of some chickens while stopping for a visit and ice cream sandwiches at Sager Mosaics and the elusive Yough Ness Monster just before we rolled into West Newton where the Bright Morning Inn awaited us right off the trail.
