POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO THE PLATE HOLDER PROBLEM:
I've had people reach out to me and say that though they agree that they're a little on the thin side, their plate holders do not rattle like mine. I tried to take the washers off of mine and tighten it back up, but it didn't work. It is very possible that I just got a machine where the hole for the bolt head was just slightly off. If you have this issue like I did, you might just have to beat it into place and retighten.
