Increased political rigidity is contrasted by greater social heterodoxy; a slumping economy contrasted by technological prowess. Over all this looms the U.S.-China conflict. In this session, Columbia University professor Adam Tooze, journalist Qing Wang, and Center for China and Globalization Research Fellow Zichen Wang discuss China's current state and future trajectory in the context of its relationship with a new U.S. administration.
