In this episode we have a look at a truly stunning one toner built by Keaton and a few of his mates out in the back shed. Keaton picked this toner up 10 years ago and has been working on it every chance he got since. It was a rusty old thing when he started but Keaton and his dad rolled their sleeves up and got stuck in. Doing most of the work himself Keaton only needed help with the trickier bits like the sills and plenum. he then finished it up to primer and sent it of for paint. I love Keaton's "hands on" attitude, it has meant he has got everything just how he wants it. and the more we looked the more we see.
The body is smooth and the paint is glassy, he has shaved the door locks and blacked out the bumpers and headlight surrounds. The custom DNA Blood Red Paint has a ton of flake in it and sparkles in the sun. I think the black Pro Street wheels and bumpers let the paint stand out.
Keaton is a mechanic so under the bonnet is his domain. the bay has been smoothed out and de plumbed. It's a very clean. It's running a ls engine with a six speed manual gearbox. after market manifolds with custom intake. everything that could be hidden was.
The trim is also amazing. He has fitted a Haltech digital dash, deleted the console and had some custom carpet done, plus a hydro dipped dash face. The dash has been wrapped in black vinyl with red stitching. The door trims are custom with 3d printed armrests.
The tray is just as nicely finished as the rest of the car. Western red Jarrah timber on the insert and a smooth flat tray welded up by Keaton. the tray lifts up from the front to reveal the drop tank with the fuel pump and filters are hidden under a cowl that makes it all look like its part of the tank. the battery is also under there as well.
This car is stunning in every way. we loved to find out about all its custom features. Keaton has put all his creative efforts into this build and he has built something you can look at time and time again and notice something different. thanks for watching.
