Acer does not only make laptops. Now the company is preparing to release the Predator Extreme PES017 electric scooter, which it announced back in March 2023. The creators assure that it will be able to cover up to 35 km off-road.

The scooter works in 3 speed modes: up to 20, 25 and 32 km/h. You can switch between them using the controller in the handle of the device. Engine torque of 40 N allows it to drive on roads with an inclination of up to 18°. A 48-V battery with a capacity of 10.5 Ah is enough for a 35 km journey on one charge.

The nominal power of the engine is 350/390 W, which has already surprised potential buyers. There is discussion on social media that the 350W is suitable for city trips and stunts in specially equipped places such as skate parks. Extreme fans prefer models with a power of 500 W or more. However, the peak power of the PES017 is 960 watts.

The scooter will cost from $1398. Sales in Europe, Africa and the Middle East will start in April-June 2024.
