With the arrival of Warhammer 40,000 10th Edition came a rather big change in how to build your army. After a test drive with Space Marines in 9th Edition, the rules team at Games Workshop have done away with individual points for wargear and even for individual models. Gone are the days of swapping weapons to get you to exactly 2,000pts on the nose. But was this change essentially moving us into Power Levels, or is there more to the new system? ... And most importantly, is it a good idea? Well Phil, the Glacial Geek, is here to give his thoughts on the new system and what it means for the game.
