In this episode, Le Cordon Bleu invited a Korean Buddhist nun and internationally acclaimed chef Venerable Beop Song for a special demonstration of Korean temple food. Venerable Beop Song became a Buddhist nun in 1996, and she has been sharing her deep foundational food knowledge with the rest of the world ever since. It was an honour to be a part of the demonstration and learn more about the history and traditions of Korean Buddhist food. Make sure to follow Le Cordon Bleu for the latest news and offerings.
ABOUT ME
I'm Anna — a very amateur baker who's learning every day to properly temper chocolate, not overbake cake sponges, and understand what the hell gluten is. I like to share my baking journey to show that behind every sweet thing in this world, there's a tablespoon of stress, a full cup of tears, and a pinch of joy once in a while.
