Holiday season is here and while it brings so much happiness and joy, for most of us it causes bloating and a very uneasy feeling 😧
Here are few tips which will help you avoid that holiday bloat 🤰🏻
1. Stay hydrated - have a huge glass of water 30 mins before or after your meal. Don’t sip on water or any drinks while you’re eating as it interferes with your digestion.
2. Sip on herbal teas - have a herbal tea 30 mins after your meal. Add herbs like fennel, ginger and peppermint.
3. Avoid processed foods because they cause harm to your gut which leads to gas and bloating.
4. Walk for atleast 30 mins after your meals so that you can digest your food properly.
5. Avoid snacking on raw cruciferous vegetables like cauliflower and broccoli instead opt for carrots or cucumbers.
6. Avoid carbonated drinks & surgery desserts because they harm your gut and digestion which leads to bloating and irregular bowel movements.
