SK Rifle match is SK's top of the line match .22lr ammo for rimfire rifles. It comes in Round nose, flat nose and long range. Today we will test the round nose. It sports a 40 grs lead bullet coated with Sk's slippery lubricant. The weather was not very accomodating today, but I gave it a shot (pun intended).
SK is owned by Lapua, and is known for make quality ammunition. How good are they? Watch and find out!
Brought some Hornady Varmint Extress .22lr with me to the range for testing today. The rifle I use today is a Bergara BXR with an A-Tec supressor and a Kahles Helia CL 4-12x52 rifle scope. The range is as usual 55 yards, or 50 meters. I chose to try to shoot from my Caldwell Lead sled, but I'm not shure this was a wise choise when I watch the footage. Supressors, or silencers, are alway fun to use on a .22lr. It's always pleasent to shoot without ear muffs.
I will also do a test with my Tikka T1X with this ammo later on.
Hornadyis one of the largest manufacturers of ammunition in the world, with mostly centerfire ammunition on the menu. Is their quality up to match, or excel, CCI, Eley, Lapua and other quality ammunition? Watch the video and find out!
Do you like ammotests? This is a list of .22lr ammo I have, or will be, testing and review.

Some are sold out, or unavailable at the moment, but I have 70+ of these at hand already. I will use my Tikka T1X with a Zeiss Conquest 6,5-20x50. Shooting will mostly be done prone, but I will be using a shootingrest when available. Range is 50 meters, or 54,7 yards. I will first run 10 shots over the chronograph to get an accurate velocity reading and prep the bore for the ammo I will be testing that day. I will then shoot five five shots groups to obtain an average group size. I will be dividing ammo into groups. They will be as follow; bulk, standard, match, high velocity, subsonic and specialtyammunition.
I'm looking forward to doing this test and share the results with you all!
