Chillin' fm was amazing, and although I only made a few recordings of this channel, it made a big impact on us. It is a shame some of the tapes were lost or stolen. These tapes were recorded in Hammersmith, London
The Dj's, although technically not great, played some of the most amazing tunes most of which i have bought or am still after. Their personalities and jingles also make a stamp on the rave scene for us. Instead of calling the tapes "Tape 1", my tapes had letters for some reason, we knew which letter tape/mix we loved, usually A-C. On the tapes you would often hear planes talking to Heathrow control tower. Wonder what the pilots thought of hearing this rave music in the cockpit! Where are these DJ's now, Anton, Derek B, Wizard, Helium, Dizzy D
