It is understood that Almighty Allah gives us life and causes death. Sleeping is often quoted as half death. So we should say thanks to Allah after waking up. The best practice is to recite So Kar Uthne Ki Dua when we open eyes. It's a kind of acknowledgment of the blessings from God. Dua after sleep or waking up will make your whole day pleasant. Make your habit to recite nend se bedar hone ki dua on every morning.

Arabic:
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Urdu Translation / اردو ترجمہ:
شکر ہے اللہ کا جس نے ہمیں موت کے بعد زندہ کیا اور اسی کی طرف جانا ہے
English Translation:
All praise be to Allah, who gave us life after killing us.
Roman Transliteration:
Alhamdu lillahil-lathee ahyana baAAda ma amatana wa-ilayhin-nushoor.
