In my latest video, I take a look at Bronze Age Proto-Indo-European or Aryan ancestry in Ancient, Medieval, and modern Iranians. Based on my analysis, modern Iranians are around 90 to 95% genetically contiguous since the Iron Age, with around 20% of their heritage deriving from the Bronze Age Proto-Indo-Europea Yamnaya population. The autosomal breakdowns featured in this video were done using Davidski's G25 Calculator, utilized through the Vahaduo database. Non-Caucasoid or West Eurasian heritage in contemporary Iranians only accounts for 2 to 4% in Iranians and Kurds, and around 6% in Azerbaijanis, proving that modern Iranians are largely a Caucasoid or West Eurasian population. Furthermore, this video also serves as a benchmark refutation of the ludicrous claims made by Jason Reza Jorjani in regards to the ethnogenesis of modern Iranians. Based on these findings, modern Iranians are largely akin to Iron Age Iranians from northwestern Iran. Also, an analysis on Ancient Iron Age Iranian samples from Central Asia proves that the Aryans that migrated to Iran were a BMACized population, with significant Iranian farmer heritage. These findings refute the ludicrous claims made by Jason Reza Jorjani that the Aryans who migrated to Iran were purely of Nordic European genetic descent. Overall, these findings thus serve to provide groundbreaking insights into the genetic ethnogenesis of contemporary Iranians.
