Bombay Dyeing is one of the oldest Indian Brand established in the year 1879.
In 1970s the company experimented in the area of women's wear and saree being one of it.
They brought Sharmila Tagore and Pravin Babi as the Brand icons who were known for their bold and outrageous personality much in line with the the designs of their product.
The brand focused on presenting their product for the machine age or in layman's language it was for the women who were now ready to step out of their house for work and hence the focus on the words 'uncrushable' and 'anti-crease'.
