This week is World Breastfeeding Week! (1-7th August 2013) Check out the incredible work done by Fundasaun Alola to ensure mothers recognise the importance of breastfeeding in Timor-Leste.
Winners of STARS 2012 Health Impact Award for its work in responding to challenges such as high maternal and infant mortality rates and infant malnutrition. Fundasaun Alola responds to these complex and interrelated challenges through a number of programmes aimed at the empowerment and education of women.
