Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park is a thriving tropical garden with more than 120 different alluring butterfly species. You can roam in the garden with over 5,000 beautiful butterflies of green, orange, yellow, red, and onyx hues, dancing among flowers or devouring fruit platters throughout the netted enclosure.
Most of these species are endangered or rare species transported from the jungles of Malaysia for their preservation and protection. Just outside the butterfly enclosure, you can see a small museum providing information on different species of butterflies and a huge amount of preserved insects, including praying mantis, and rhinoceros beetles from all across the world.
If you are a nature lover, photography whiz, or fun expert, this beautiful park is for you. You can access some restaurants within walking distance of 5 minutes and grab some delicious food. Over the years, this garden area has been redesigned to include space for the planetarium, memorials, animal sanctuaries, and orchid displays.
Generally, no guides are available, but you can find a limestone layer on the ground to guide your path across the garden. A vast net is spread across the butterfly park to save these little creatures from escape.
