Hey what's up! Quick vlog running errands with the Brompton Electric.
In this video I'm using the Brompton City Bag, as opposed to the Brompton Essentials Bag that comes originally with the Brompton Electric. The capacity is not huge on this bag, but it does fit enough for a dinner. I'm pretty pleased with it. I'll still probably going to use the normal Brompton for groceries until I have the Brompton Electric set up with a rear rack. I hope you enjoyed this video!

getting stuff done with the brompton electric (an experimental vlog)
Hey guys, welcome back to the channel!
So, one of these packages is a battery for my laptop, and the other one I don't remember. And this is a wi-fi adapter for my computer. My computer is pretty old. There are no excuses for an engineer not to have a multimeter. This is for one of my classes. I do have one of these back in Brazil but now I feel complete from having it here with me so, good. And here is how I was recording that video from above. I have my tripod. One of the legs is on the drawer, the other one on the ground, and the other one here, on my pajamas. And guys, who sends drivers on CDs anymore? Nobody uses these. This is so old-school and I feel so young saying that. Now let's take this battery and stick it inside of that computer. It's nice that they include this small screwdriver. but we're not gonna be using this right now. This is what the internals of my computer look like. In here I'm not gonna use my power tool. because it's electric and it can burn some of the components so, I'll use the small screwdriver that they gave me. This is a piece of garbage. New one installed, computer up and running, old one return to Amazon, already 5pm, it will be dark very soon. The plan right now is to take the Brompton Electric that's back there, drop this battery off at Amazon, because it will be returned, and then go to the supermarket to get some groceries. I'll be using the Brompton City Bag. As you guys know, the battery goes here in the middle and it doesn't leave a lot of room for the other stuff, you know? Everything is gonna have to fit in there, I'll take an extra bag just in case they don't fit in there. I don't know how this weather is gonna hold up, it looks like it could start raining at any minute, so we better get going. I'm actually going uphill right now. The reason why I'm calling this video an experiment is because I wanna test a few things. First, I wanna see if I can make this video, this vlog without taking too much of my time. Today is a business day, doing regular stuff that I have to do sometimes, I wanna see how much time recording it will take me, and how much time editing this video will take me. I'm hoping for maybe a couple of hours or three hours max. Today is Thursday evening and I wanna see if I can post this video by tomorrow morning. Just got here, Amazon is right there. I'll probably not even fold the bike, just take it inside, drop the package, and then we'll move on to the supermarket. Let's go. Hello, I'm here to return this. Awesome, thank you! Returning stuff here is so quick that I didn't even fold the bike, I just took the bike inside with me. Now, on to the supermarket, it's very close to here and I'll talk to you after I finish my shopping to make things a bit quicker. I finish doing my groceries, still need to check out, but the way this bike is set up, with just the fenders and no rack is very unstable. Very hard. Look at this noise. Yeah, I'll definitely have to do something about this to use this bike for grocery shopping. I need to lift it up in order to push it. Let's check this out and then later on at home I'll show you everything that I fit in here. Just got home, it was about 10 km and it just dropped one bar. Now, it dropped this first bar when I got to the supermarket, so I think this bar is about to drop too, if it makes sense. Let's open this thing up. All right. Four gigantic oranges, three gigantic apples, one gigantic red bell pepper and one small, cashews, the broken ones are cheaper, a dozen eggs, basil, three very small onions, strawberries, and very small tomatoes, grape tomatoes. There you go, it's quite a bit of stuff, and keep in mind that we didn't use any of these back pockets for food. I had a lot of camera gear in them. All right guys, there isn't much else to talk about on this video. This was, as I said, this was an experiment to see if I could record videos faster, if I can edit them faster, I still don't know how long it's gonna take me to edit this. I'll put it right here as I'm editing it.
