Some 230,000 Ukrainian refugees have entered Moldova since Russia’s war in Ukraine began, according to the United Nations’ refugee agency.

And there are also concerns Russian President Vladimir Putin will set his sights on Moldova next.

The country has a sizeable minority sympathetic to Moscow and Transnistria – an unrecognized breakaway state – under the control of pro-Russian rebels. Mercedes Stephenson reports from Moldova.
