SC refused to stay EC's order that recognised CM Shinde's faction as the real Shiv Sena. The hearing was constituted by the bench headed by CJI Dy Chandrachud and Justices PS Narasimha and JB Pardiwala. Earlier, the five-judge constitution bench also declined to restrain the Shinde group. Shinde group is set to take over the financial resources of the Thackeray faction.
