I love painting home portraits, and it's one of my specialities as an artist. I also love sharing the process as I paint each one.
Each portrait I paint has a story too. This home is a gift for my client's mother who has recently moved and there are a few special things I added to customize it for her. The bluebird is there to remind her of the birdhouses she kept and the grapvine wreath on the door was something the client always remembered about her mother's home.
