In today’s walkthrough, we’ll be swapping out an existing hose bibb with a brand new Aquor V1+ House Hydrant.
This home has 3/4" copper plumbing inside, and cedar lap siding on the exterior. We'll be removing the existing brass sillcock, and adding a frost-free stainless steel Aquor hydrant in its place.
We'll be using copper press fittings and demonstrating an easy and inexpensive way to make connections on copper pipe: a manual press tool.
In this video we'll cover:
1) Removing the existing brass spigot.
2) Re-sizing the entry hole.
3) Making the plumbing connection.
4) Using a copper press tool.
