We took the Skyrail to Kuranda from Cairns in Australia, saw the oldest rainforest in the world, then rode the Kuranda Scenic Railway back down. During the day, we held a Koala, saw a Cassowary, rode ATVs, saw Barron Falls (a waterfall), and had some homemade ice cream, and ate some live green ants.

When it comes to Cairns and things to do, we think this rainforest is better than Daintree, because it's accessible, more family friendly, and just a really cool and comfortable experience.
