Now, something I've noticed recently is that VPNs are no longer really advertising the fact that they allow for peer to peer activity, which is why I'm going to just showcase it today. so that you guys can be sure that they actually do allow for peer to peer and torrenting. Now, if you notice, I remember a few months back when they would actually kind of it was, I think it was one of these panels where they did say that they allow for torrenting or peer to peer, peer to peer support. And the article just no longer is available. And that could be perhaps because of the complications of well, the varying legalities, really, when it comes to torrenting, or file sharing between one country and the other. How to Safely Torrent with NordVPN Torrenting So for example, in Japan, you could actually go to prison for engaging in file sharing, I believe it was up to two years for downloading and up to 10 years for uploading. So yeah, very intense stuff, you know, whereas in the US, you'll just get a warrant, for example, just a warning letter from your ISP. And if you keep doing it, I think they'll just cancel your subscription until you can, I guess vowed to not do it again, or something like that. And then you've got in the Netherlands who are very lenient, really, they'll just tell you, hey, as long as you're not redistributing it, and trying to trying to make money off of selling copyrighted materials, you can just use it as long as it's for personal use and not redistributing it. So yeah, it really depends, what you could do is just use a VPN and kind of avoid that whole headache. How to Safely Torrent with NordVPN Torrenting So we're gonna go ahead and test it with Nord VPN. So I'm just gonna connect to Italy here and see what happens. Of course, for this, you guys know, I'm using Oh, you know what? No, I'm going to use the wireguard protocol. With the UDP protocol, you'll be getting access to these servers, these specialty servers, dedicated IP and double VPN. But oh, you also do have, by the way, peer to peer servers, peer to peer support servers, but you don't even really need to use them to get access to peer to peer activity. So we're gonna go ahead and connect using Nord links. So let's say Italy, of course, with Nord links, it'll Connect much quicker than the other VPN, then the other protocols, you could use these servers with a peer to peer support, but it's not really necessary.
