Early country dance in Cornwall was the theme of this Cornish Dance Day 2015. Each group was asked to choreograph a dance from the early collections. Some groups chose to try and capture the dance as it would have been in its day others interpreted the dance more broadly. Here Kemysk dance “Trip to Truro” from a Dancing Master called John Johnson published in “24 Country Dances for 1765”. They have set the dance to some Cornish Polkas.
