Megali Ammos Beach,Sivota,Greece(Παραλία Μεγάλη Άμμος)

To many people accessable by walking, only 2 km south of the roundabout in Sivota,the beach whose name literally means "big sand" ...
Megali Ammos beach is about 200 m long and about 40 m wide.
A good part of the beach is organized by deck chairs and umbrellas of very nice cafes ...
... but there is also a lot of free space if you decide to enjoy that kind ... so if you get up early and take this far left part of the beach, the shade can last you a long time.
The beach is pebbly, so is the entrance to the water.
The advantage of such beaches is that the water is always clear and unclouded, but it is recommended that at least the youngest do not enter the water barefoot in order to avoid potential minor hurts and the like ...
The shallows last 3-4 m and after that you reach the rocks in the shape of slabs, so this beach is ideal for diving lovers.
At the far right is an incredibly beautifully decorated tavern and an opportunity to enjoy Greek specialties right by the sea ... but preparations are still underway so you will have to take my word for it.
If you are wondering where these stairs lead to the far left ... a very nice path to the hotel, which was still not open on April 29.
There are parking spaces, but certainly not enough when the beach is full during the season and due to the proximity of Sivota.
The picture of this and other beaches we visited is quite different in the season. What my main impressions are that this beach, unlike others, is the best prepared for the season. The water is extremely clear even in this gloomy weather, but since I'm not a fan of pebble beaches I would not give it too high grade.
