A fire in an abandoned building in Johannesburg that was occupied by squatters killed at least 74 people early Thursday morning. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa visited the site and expressed his condolences to the victims of the fire and their families, saying an investigation needed to be conducted to find out what caused the blaze.
